How It Works
Place your reservation deposit below and include a preferred processing month in your checkout notes. You'll hear back from us shortly!
Select your desired cuts of beef (we will provide a form and recommendations) and call them in to our butcher. They are very helpful with this part and are used to lots of questions!
Pick up your beef directly from the butcher, Homestead Acres (located in Mt Hope)
Your non-refundable deposit will be deducted from your final bill.
Your final bill must be paid by check or cash, or be subject to a 3% credit card fee.
Our butcher, Homestead Acres, is located just outside Mt Hope, which is the gateway to Amish Country. There are many popular attractions in the area if you want to make a day of it. Make sure to check out The Red Mug Coffee Shop in Mt Hope!

While grass-fed beef does have a slightly different taste than grain-finished, it should not taste bad. Good tasting beef is all about getting a sufficient finish, which is harder to do with only grass. Cattle genetics, forage quality, and grazing management all play a very important role in achieving a great finished product.
