The vast majority of chickens in the US spend their short lifespan packed in an enclosed barn, 20,000-30,000 at a time, in filthy living conditions (yes, even that organic chicken from the supermarket). At Glenview Acres, we believe that only a happy chicken is a healthy chicken. Once out on pasture, we move our broilers every day to fresh grass. They breath clean air and eat a combination of forage, bugs, and high-quality organic grain. Not even confined to a pen, our chickens have space to run and exercise in our unique open-pasture system.
